2:00 Staff arrives to check in and receive keys for early check-ins. Block rooms for phones and movies. Individuals may give a credit card to have their room unblocked.
3-4 Early check-ins. Front desk does not need to be involved except in unblocking phones and movies. ShowTime Staff will distribute keys to these early arrivals. Please do not arrive after 4:00 p.m. as no one will be there to check you in. Additional room fees have been charged for early arrivals.

8 - 9 am Registration -- tables near front desk. Today's arrivals will keep their luggage in their cars until time to check in later this afternoon. Please arrive at registration dressed ready to dance for your Home Routine.
10:00 Home Routine Evaluation. Place:
11 -12 Orientation. Introduce Staff. Roll call. Review of Schedule and Explanation of Classes. Session I: What is an officer? Duties, where do I go from here. Officer self-image. Keeping a Notebook. Stretch Routine-Melissa. Announcements.
12-1:30 Lunch is included.
1:30-5:45 Dance Instruction. Celebration Dance-Rebecca: "Mary, Mary" Routine #1: Jazz-Joy, "What's Up, Come On" Routine #2: Pom-Melissa, "Freestyler." Announcements.
Leap and Turn Technique. Choose the intermediate class (Joy) or the advanced class (Audrey). Staff will get the remaining keys for today's arrivals from the front desk, who will block movies and phones unless participants take them a credit card.
4:00 Directors Meeting
5:45-7:15 Dinner is included. Take luggage to your room.
7:15-7:35p Review Jazz & Pom.
7:35-8:15 Learn the Choreography Assignment-Joy, "Charlie's Angels" Theme. All officers will learn a portion of the routine.
8:15-9:00 Choreography Workshop-Joy: how to count out music, formations, listening for emphasis, selecting music, how to choreograph a routine, adapting a routine to a different piece of music, camp jazz to band music, camp pom to band music with different props.
9:00-9:15 Captains learn next 32 counts of Choreography Assignment.
9:15 Cool Stuff, Ripples, Skits or Chants. Review tomorrow's schedule. Select either Routine #1 or #2 and begin perfecting it for Final Evaluation. No entrance and exit will be judged. Know Your Director sheets. Discuss routines for tomorrow's class routines. Vote for "Most Admired." Announcements.
9:30 Choreograph on your own for Evaluation tomorrow. Your director may not help with choreography.

8:00 Roll call, stretch, kick technique, kick pattern. Review Jazz & Pom.
9:00 Sessions: Motivation. Drill Team Organization. Yearly calendar, roll call, all paperwork, demerits, probation, weekly details, organizing a practice, planning summer practices, summer tryouts for each routine, planning football performances.
Assign Goals Sheets. Directors are encouraged to fill in goals sheets with your officers. Leadership Projects Homework Sheets.
10:00 Choreograph on your own for Choreography Assignment.
11:45 Directors' Meeting.
11:45-1:00 Lunch is included
1:30-2 Choreography Evaluation with your instructor. Criteria: Completion, polish, staying with the theme, emphasis on strong beats, originality. No entrance and exit are judged.
2-3 Instruction. Session III. Discipline, Voice Control, Confidence, Commanding Authority, Posture, Session IV. How to Teach. Notes on teaching, Polishing & Perfecting, Memorizing a Routine.

12-1:00 Lunch is included If you did not take your luggage to your car before breakfast, do so now. Bring you key to the ShowTime staff at 1:00
1:00 Showtime staff will take up keys in the Evaluation Room and return them to the front desk. Please be sure you have cleared phone calls and movies with the front desk by 1:00. Front desk will then print out each room showing miscellaneous charges and give them to ShowTime staff.
1:30-4p Camp Jazz or Pom Evaluation. Entrance & exit are not scored.

Parking Procedures: Self parking next to the hotel is $5 daily. Valet parking is $10 daily.
Medical Assistance Procedure: Call your ShowTime staff, who will transport the person to the hospital or call 911.
Final Evaluation the last Day: Will be held at the hotel. Please tell parents and friends to arrive no later than 1:15 p.m. They may self park next to the hotel for $5.

Checking Out and Returning Keys the Last Day: Keys will be returned during lunch the third day. Please have the desk staff print out your room and clear your incidentals.
Camp Dance Formations: These are in your director book in the routine notes. It will save you time and allow you to place your girls in the correct spots in each formation if you find a few minutes to place them before the opening session.
